Shane is head of Disputes & Investigation. He specialises in large-scale litigation, arbitration and investigations for the firm's major international clients and their senior officers. Much of this work has involved the management of cross-border multi-jurisdictional litigation/arbitration and regulatory investigation. His experience includes advising a diverse range of major domestic and international commercial organisations, listed companies, State entities and senior executives on all areas of contentious business, risk management, internal investigations and regulatory enforcement. Shane's cross border regulatory experience includes US, European and Asian financial services agencies and market regulators, including, involvement in the recent US/UK FX investigation. He has also advised on a substantial number of internal investigations, involving insider (and own account) trading, corruption, related party transactions, whistleblowing, data security breaches, and systems and controls failures, typically in the financial services or mining/energy sectors.
